Registered Massage Therapist

My discovery of massage therapy was through my own personal journey to recovery. This process has been deeply intertwined with the development of a yoga practice, functional movement, and somatic therapies. After completing a yoga teacher training in 2011, it was clear that the next step was entering the health care field, focusing on becoming a massage therapist. I completed my studies at the VCMT in 2016.

I draw on a variety of treatment techniques including Swedish massage, cranio-sacral, visceral therapy, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, lymphatic drainage, scar tissue release, and TMJD issues.  My approach is holistic, integrating mind and body, as well as utilizing breath work to develop self awareness and healing. I also enjoy supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum care, assisting with rebuilding core engagement and stability.

My previous career was in event and restaurant management, harboring a love of mixology and facilitating music events. I now find balance focusing on a jewelry/metalsmithing business, drawing, exploring  new places and the outdoors.
