Sharon Borg became an RMT in 2000. She took her training at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver and moved back to the island once completed. During her first couple years as an RMT she worked at a Chiropractic office and then later transitioned into a luxurious spa setting where she soon became Team Lead and Trainer for the Massage Team.
Sharon remained in the spa industry for over 15 years and developed many skills related to guest service, training new team members, leadership, and developing new spa treatments. In 2017 she decided to go back into a clinic setting, and before too long she was very busy. Her treatment style incorporates a variety of modalities including, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Soft Tissue Release, Hot Stone Therapy and Deep Tissue work. She enjoys helping people through a wide variety of challenges such as headaches, chronic muscular tension, stress and anxiety.
Sharon believes that effective treatments combined with a commitment to homecare (postural awareness, stretching, strengthening) offers the best chance for positive outcomes.
